Summary
We refund a payment in full while the credits it bought are unused. Where the problem is with the quality of a post, we return the credit that produced it rather than the payment.
Every new account receives three free credits, so that you can assess the quality of the output before paying for it.
Refunding a payment
A payment is refundable in full while the credits it bought remain unspent. We assess this against the credits from that payment alone, so spending your trial credits, or credits remaining from an earlier month, does not affect it.
Once any credit from a payment has been spent, that payment is not refundable. A credit is spent when it produces a post or a look, and what it produced remains yours.
Separately from this policy, Paddle may issue a refund at its own discretion within fourteen days of a payment. Where the law in your country gives you greater rights than this policy describes, those rights apply.
Renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. If a renewal has been charged and you have not used that month, contact us and we will refund it. No explanation is required.
You may cancel at any time through the subscription management link on your credits page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the period you have already paid for runs to its end.
Returning a credit
Where a post does not meet the standard described below, we return the credit that produced it rather than refunding money.
We return the credit where:
- the image is not the dish you photographed;
- Arabic text on the image is broken, incorrectly joined, or in the wrong order;
- a price, discount or claim appears that you did not provide;
- incorrect branch details were used;
- a format other than the one you selected was produced.
We do not return the credit where the post meets that standard and you would prefer a different result. That includes a preference about mood or colour, a request for a brighter image, a change of mind about an offer, or a source photograph too dark or blurred to work from.
Every post can be re-generated three times at no charge, on request. You are not required to use a re-generation before asking us to return a credit.
A post that fails on our side is refunded automatically. No request is necessary and the credit returns on its own.
A post you have marked as published is no longer eligible for a credit return. If you identify a genuine defect after publishing, such as an incorrect price, contact us and we will review it.
We may decline repeated requests where the posts meet the standard shown in your own approved work.
How to request a refund
- Write to mohamed@abdelmaksoud.dev, or use our contact page.
- Tell us which payment or which post is affected, and what was wrong with it.
- We aim to resolve requests within ten working days.
If you arranged your subscription with us directly rather than through the website, the same rules apply and we will refund by the method you paid.
Who takes the payment
For customers outside Egypt, Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, handles the applicable tax, and appears on your statement and your invoice. Refunds are issued through Paddle.
Within Egypt, subscriptions are arranged with us directly and paid by Vodafone Cash, InstaPay or bank transfer.
